Chadwick Boseman’s remaining efficiency as Black Panther can be in Disney + ‘s What If …? sequence

We haven’t seen Chadwick Boseman’s final round as T’Challa / Black Panther, which has now been confirmed to be in the Disney + Marvel animated series, What If …?

Boseman died on August 28 at the age of 43 after a battle with colon cancer that went from stage III to stage IV in his last four years. His last film performance was on Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which landed on Netflix last weekend and was one of the various projects he tackled “between countless surgeries and chemotherapy” that his family shared at the time of his death.

Now Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed to Emmy Magazine that Boseman – whose last live action performance was the Black Panther in Avengers: Endgame 2019 – the Wikandan king and hero for What If … ?, One animated anthology dealing with the subject voiced fun, alternative takes on famous Marvel stories.

For example, Boseman’s T’Challa will at some point be suitable as the Guardian of the Star Lord of the Galaxy, as seen in the trailer below.

“[He] came in about four times and did a lot of episodes, “Feige told Emmy Magazine. “In retrospect, it’s very moving.”

Other MCU Vets That Whistle At What If …? Loans that will premiere in the summer of 2021 include (but are not limited to!) Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / The Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Karen Gillan as Nebula.
