Da Vinci Code Solver Robert Langdon’s genesis is revealed in Peacock’s The Lost Symbol – Watch Trailer
A young Robert Langdon has the task of solving nothing less than a “big mystery” in the first teaser of the Peacock streaming service for what is now Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol.
Based on Brown’s third bestseller in the Da Vinci Code franchise, The Lost Symbol (fka Dan Browns Langdon, fka Langdon) follows the early adventures of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (played by Ashley Zukerman of Designated Survivor), who has to solve a series of deadly puzzles to rescue his kidnapped mentor (Eddie Izzard of The Riches) and thwart a terrifying global conspiracy.
The cast also includes Valorie Curry (The Following), Sumalee Montano (Star Trek: Picard), Rick Gonzalez (Arrow) and Beau Knapp (The Good Lord Bird).
Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie (both from Scream: The TV Series and The Crossing) are the writers for the series (currently slated for “Coming Soon”) and will serve as executive producers with Brown, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard . Samie Kim Falvey and Anna Culp.
Originally developed for NBC, “The team were overwhelmed by this pilot and his enormous potential to become a big, binge-worthy hit.
