Dropped Ariel Pink of Mexican Summer time report label after collaborating within the pro-Trump rally on the White Home
Ariel Pink was dropped from his Mexican Summer record label. The label tweeted that it “decided to end [its] Working relationship ”with the artist“ going forward ”. Mexican Summer was supposed to publish Odditties Sodomies Vol. 2. 1, Sit n ‘Spin, Odditties Sodomies Vol. 3 and Scared Famous / FF >> on January 29th as the last episode of his series “Ariel Archives”. Pitchfork contacted Mexican Summer regarding the future of its releases.
On Jan. 7, it was reported that Ariel Pink was attending a pro-Trump rally that took place on the White House lawn on Jan. 6, just before hundreds of insurgents, some of whom were armed, entered the U.S. Capitol .
Confirming his participation in the rally, Pink wrote on Twitter: “I went to DC to peacefully show my support for the president. I attended the rally on the White House lawn and went back to the hotel and took a nap. Case closed. “He said he was not part of the crowd that stormed the Capitol.
