EDC Mexico proclaims new dates for autumn 2021 [DETAILS]

EDC Mexico is the newest major music festival pushing back dates from spring to fall 2021.

With the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its variants lingering during the festival season, the Electric Daisy Carnival is making the necessary adjustments. Organizers say they took their time with this decision and exhausted all options, but September is your best bet to make safety a priority.

In a thread of tweets, EDC Mexico states (translated):

Unfortunately, due to the global situation, we cannot hold our festival on the first dates. For this reason we are officially postponing EDCMx to the second half of the year. The new dates are September 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2021.

It was only recently reported that Coachella is hoping for a comeback in the fall of 2021. In the meantime, Electric Forest has been looking for alternative dates for later this year – and unfortunately, Ultra Miami reportedly has plans to cancel altogether. These festivals have yet to be officially announced.

EDC Mexico tickets remain valid for the new dates 2021. Further information and tickets are available here.
