Frightened rabbit broadcasts the brand new version of winter blended drinks
Frightened Rabbit have announced a new edition of their 2010 album The Winter of Mixed Drinks, as Rolling Stone points out. The release celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Scottish group’s third studio LP. The band also tweeted the news yesterday. “The winter of mixed drinks, now 10 years old, is a cocktail of emotions for us,” they wrote. “Maybe it’ll all give us a little ease to help us through one of the darkest winters.” You can find the full post below.
In addition to a blue vinyl remake of The Winter of Mixed Drinks, Frightened Rabbit will include a 7 “with live versions of” The Wrestle “and” Things “recorded at Cleveland’s Grog Shop in 2010 and the Roundhouse in London in 2016. The remake is coming via Warner on December 11. Pre-orders are currently available.
Terrified Rabbit front man Scott Hutchison died in 2018 at the age of 36. A number of artists have paid tribute to him since his death. Last year, Frightened Rabbit released Tiny Changes: A Celebration of Frightened Rabbits ‘The Midnight Organ Fight,’ in which various musicians covered songs from the band’s 2008 album The Midnight Organ Fight.
