Hearken to Foo Fighters’ new music “No Son of Mine”

Foo Fighters have shared their new song “No Son of Mine”, the second single from their upcoming album “Medicine at Midnight”. Listen, and you’ll find a handwritten note from the Foos below.

“This is the kind of song that resides only within all of us, and if it makes sense at the time we’ll let it out,” said Dave Grohl in a statement, “lyrically it’s supposed to incite the hypocrisy of self-righteous leaders, people who are guilty of the crimes they are alleged to be against … “

Foo Fighters announced the new record, the successor to Concrete and Gold from 2017, when they debuted Live on Saturday night in November with “Shame Shame”. They played the track with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show later that month, where Dave Grohl also spoke about the band’s 25th anniversary. The midnight medicine arrives on February 5th.

During Hanukkah, Grohl and Medicine at Midnight, Greg Kurstin produced a number of covers including “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys, “Hotline Bling” by Drake and “Fuck the Pain Away” by Peaches with a guest appearance by the singer.
