How Jennifer Garner, Taylor Swift and extra stars say goodbye to 2020
There have been a number of unprecedented moments this year. But above all, 2020 was determined by the onslaught of the coronavirus pandemic, which changed almost everything about how the world works. However, with medical breakthroughs already on the way, many people find reason to hope for 2021.
Despite the massive difficulties of 2020, which included the loss of icons such as Kobe Bryant and Chadwick BosemanThe conversation also brought us some bright spots. Parasite won the Oscar for best picture, making it the first foreign language film to receive the award. Everyone was obsessed with Tiger King on Netflix. Taylor Swift released not just one, but two surprise albums. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt even reunited during a virtual reading from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Even so, that didn’t stop the stars from literally spinning the bird until 2020 – like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Vinny Guadagnino, both told about the free year on social media.
Now 2020 is finally over and the stars came out to celebrate the end of a daunting year in style, of course … even if many of them rang from home in the New Year.
