Justin has nothing but respect for Britney and Janet, and he’s not proud of things he’s said or done in the past, but that was the least he could do in the right direction to make amends. He learns from his mistakes and wants to set a good example to other male artists that it is unacceptable to set a certain tone in the music industry, ”the insider continued.
His decision to apologize to Janet Jackson too had gone beyond their performance together in 2004 when he finally put one of her breasts on the air!
Another source insisted that Justin didn’t just apologize to just purify the air after the backlash he received.
Instead, he wanted his words to be “legitimate” and “heartfelt”.
“He wanted Britney and Janet and the whole world to know how he was feeling,” the source noted.
