Could Kelly Dodd lose your orange?
Amid growing controversy this season, The Real Housewives of Orange County star expects to be “fired from the show,” a source told E! News and stated that “nothing has been confirmed yet”.
“Although she would like to stay on the show, she has resigned herself to it,” the source continued. “She knows it’s coming.”
Kelly has received criticism for her recent controversial comments, including those about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Still, the source claimed, “Kelly stands by her point and believes the show favors the other women,” in particular Braunwyn Windham-Burke. According to the insider, the 45-year-old reality star “definitely feels repressed”.
Even so, a Bravo representative told E! News The network has not yet made any casting decisions.
Earlier this week, Positive Beverage, which has been in partnership with Kelly for the past two years, announced they were breaking ties with her, referring to her behavior on the show, including her comments during the reunion, and her recent social media Contributions as reasons for ending affiliation.
On Jan. 30, Kelly shared a video of herself dining with friends in a Newport Beach restaurant that featured an unidentified voice in the background: “Nobody is wearing a mask” and “Super Spreader.”
While Kelly later deleted the Instagram clip, she appeared to address the backlash in a separate Stories video. “I’m not a super spreader because there is nothing to spread, because we all have the vaccine and we don’t have it. So there’s nothing to spread about super spreaders. The sheep are crazy!”
