Man arrested and charged with homicide in King Von’s Taking pictures Loss of life

Earlier this week, 26-year-old rapper King Von was killed outside a hookah lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. Today (Nov. 7), Atlanta police arrested Timothy Leeks, 22, and charged him with the rapper’s murder, the Atlanta Journal’s Constitution reports.

Marla Jean Rooker, a spokeswoman for the Atlanta Police Department, told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that Leeks was in custody at Grady Hospital, adding that the Chicago-born rapper’s murder “is closed with this arrest.” One other person was killed, three others injured and one other is in critical condition during the incident. Their names were not published. After King Von’s death was confirmed Friday, Chance the Rapper, YG, and others shared their memories of the late rapper online. LeBron James wrote, “The kid had a hell of a bright future ahead of them.”
