Mariah Carey has a hilarious response to Christmas decorations made in her likeness
That Christmas ornament? Mariah Carey doesn’t know them
On Thursday, December 17th, CNN Politics Senior Campaign Editor Kyle Blaine tweeted a photo of a Christmas ornament made in the likeness of the pop diva. The figure wears glittering golden hair and kneels in a red and white belted dress and Santa hat – a tribute to the cover of her 1994 album Merry Christmas, which includes Carey’s classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. Blaine wrote, “My husband and I exchange ornaments every year and this year he gave me @MariahCarey, which is very festive!”
The singer herself replied: “This is … not approved [neutral face emoji] (But it’s the thought that matters). “
Blaine later replied, “Dress me up, Queen.” He later also tweeted, “Lots of mixed feelings about receiving so many private messages congratulating me on being utterly ruined by MC.”
The glass ornament was previously available online at Frog & Toad for $ 19.50 but is no longer for sale.
