Marilyn MansonThe last few weeks have been tough. In case you haven’t been following the news surrounding the iconic Shock Rocker, Marilyn has been the target of abuse allegations made by his former fiancée Evan Rachel Wood, who says he abused her for years.

Regardless of this, the media spectacle that followed led the Antichrist Superstar’s artist to pay for security around the clock for fear of paparazzi and random fans. Two weeks have passed since then Evan Rachel Wood stepped forward to accuse Marilyn of abuse.

A source who spoke to The Sun this week stated that the rocker doesn’t want to take any chances these days and would rather stay home than expose himself to the dangers of random, vengeful fans and paparazzi.

This only intensified when a group of people gathered outside his home and declared that they were documentary filmmakers. In addition, the police tried to get into his house as part of a social investigation, and Manson refused to even let them in.

The British newspaper says that Manson has since been deposed by his record label, his manager, and that he is relying on his wife Lindsay Usich for support. The source said that many people had Manson’s backs, but many of them did not.

The insider says Manson lived a reclusive life for years and would rather paint and party at night, sleep during the day and stay out of the spotlight. This controversy is likely only to reinforce its hermetic tendencies.

In response to the allegations, Manson said the allegations were “terrible distortions of reality” before going on to say that his relationships are always consensual. The “Beautiful People” singer said in his social media reports that he doesn’t understand why people are trying to “misrepresent the past.”
