Punky Brewster Revival Drop all 10 episodes on Peacock in February


Peacock opens its french window for Punky Brewster next month. The revival of the iconic sitcom from the 80s will premiere on Thursday, February 25th, dropping all 10 episodes at once, TVLine has learned.

More than three decades after the original series ended: “Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster care system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger Me, ”the official summary of the resuscitation.

Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson will appear as their original characters (Punky and Cherie) alongside new cast members Freddie Prinze Jr. (as Punky’s ex-husband Travis), Quinn Copeland (Izzy), Noah Cottrell (Diego) and Oliver De Los as their original characters (Punky and Cherie) (Daniel) and Lauren Lindsey Donzis (Hannah).

The revival was written and executive produced by Steve and Jim Armogida (Grounded For Life). Frye is an executive producer alongside original series creators David Duclon and Jimmy Fox of Main Event Media.
