SWAT’s Shemar Moore reveals the COVID-19 prognosis and tells followers, “I will be high-quality.”

SWAT star Shemar Moore has tested positive for COVID-19, he announced on social media on Thursday.

“I have COVID !!!! I only found out a few moments ago, ”he wrote on his Instagram account. “I thought I had food poisoning today … chills and pain … can still smell, taste, no cough, no runny nose.”

Moore assured his followers that he would have to accept his test results even though “I’m fine now … but I have to be responsible !!!”

“My Christmas and New Years are clearly not going to be the best … my last year and a half hasn’t been the best … but I’ll be fine!” He went on. “This is a tough time for ALL OF US … the WORLD !!! But … I believe in the sun that shines through the rain !!! Stay safe and cherish everyone and everything you have and had! MUCH LOVE!!!!”

TVLine reached out to CBS to see if Moore’s diagnosis was affecting SWAT production.

In early 2020, Moore used his Instagram account to commemorate his mother, Marylin Joan Wilson-Moore, who died in February at the age of 76.

Moore wrapped his long post with a whole bunch of emoji and the hashtag #wearamask.
