The transition from WandaVision to Physician Unusual 2 is so deserved, says Elizabeth Olsen

Gone are the days when MUC fans would be satisfied with independent projects in the franchise. Each new film is now scrutinized for links to other Marvel films and for clues that will make future films. Something similar happens with the Disney + show WandaVision. According to a new interview with Elizabeth Olsen, who stars Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch on the show, fans can end up expecting a big setup that leads to the events of the upcoming Doctor Strange 2.

“I just signed up [to play Wanda] because I liked the character because of the comics and I thought the Age of Ultron story was really powerful and funny, fearful and rebellious, and really an honorable story. Well, it’s this whole new thing that never was in the beginning. Moving from WandaVision to Doctor Strange 2, I feel like everything is so deserved. ”

Little is known about the details of Doctor Strange 2 right now, other than the fact that Wanda will play a supportive role for the Sorcerer Supreme, and the film’s title Into the Multiverse of Madness suggests the will of the two magical superheroes detours in make alternative realities.

At the moment Wanda is concerned with a very specific alternate reality that she may have created herself. In WandaVision we find the former avenger who leads a life of suburban bliss with her Android friend Vision. Unfortunately, all of the laugh tracks, crazy neighbors, and sitcom hijinks can’t hide the fact that something is very wrong with Wanda’s new home.

While WandaVision started out very innocently, the latest episodes make it clear that the house of cards Wanda built for himself is going to collapse any moment, and then the real action begins. The show allowed Elizabeth Olsen Showing off Wanda’s personality just hinted at before, and the actress feels like she’s more in control of what makes Wanda tick than ever before.

“”[The show] just became something I absolutely adored and loved, and because of that show, it made me love this character more than ever. And I feel like I have such new ownership of it because of the time I spent creating this show. ”

While fans have complained that WandaVision has been moving too slowly so far, Olsen’s comments suggest that the show’s finale will be unforgettable as reality collapses around Wanda and Vision and the Sorcerer Supreme steps in to restore the world lawful state.

WandaVision was written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman. It consists of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes.
