US Women Share New Christmas Carol “Santa Keep Residence”: Pay attention

US Girls have released a new Christmas song called “Santa Stay Home”, which band leader Meg Remy wrote with Rich Morel. Remy recommends that Santa stay at home this year because of climate change, the environmental impact of Christmas trees, and consumer-driven gift giving. Check it out below.

In a statement, Meg Remy stated, “If you stop to really think about it, Santa Claus is creepy and Christmas doesn’t make any fucking sense.”

Meg Remy’s most recent album as US Girls, Heavy Light, was released in March. It was shortlisted for the 2020 Canadian Polaris Prize. She recently remixed Seth Bogart’s “Boys Who Don’t Wanna Be Boys”.
