Wendy Williams’ lifetime biopic trailer teases a horrific mid-air fainting spell
The Statue of Liberty still stands tall in New York Harbor, but another type of Statue of Liberty fell down on October 31, 2017.
That Halloween day, viewers of the Wendy Williams Show were stunned to see hosts Wendy Williams Breakdown on live television. Disguised as a national monument, the hostess fell dramatically to the ground and the producers rushed to her aid.
The next day, she returned to the show to explain to her fans that it was neither a joke nor a stroke. In fact, Wendy was low on electrolytes at the time. “I’m a 53-year-old middle-aged woman going through what middle-aged women go through, if you know what I mean,” she explained. “The costume got hot. Just before I passed out, I felt in the middle of the campfire.”
Wendy admitted the experience was “scary” but said she would be fine. In fact, she joked, “For people who thought it was me [stroking out] I’ve been trying to get this chair for a long time, no, I’ve been here for a long time. “
