Today is an interesting day in Avatar history. As if the plans of James Cameron and the team at 20th Century Studios had come true in 2017, we would all see Avatar 2 in a theater near us. But between 2020, the year it is, and the production of four Avatar sequels that have been delayed more than once in the past decade, we won’t see Avatar 2 until 2022. However, like Avatar 3, this film will make you feel a lot more real after a recent development as writer / director James Cameron and some of his staff celebrate the completion of live action photography.
