Why Morbius is the proper post-Covid movie in accordance with Jared Leto

After a very long and difficult 2020, this year is expected to be a lot better for cinemas. The studios hope that audiences will come back to the theaters to see their favorite films on the big screen. In an interview with Deadline, Jared Leto revealed that he is thinking of his upcoming solo Marvel film, Morbiuswould be the perfect big budget event film for fans to enjoy in cinemas.

“I think it’s going to be a bit of the perfect, hopefully by the end of COVID, post-COVID, movie that people can enjoy. ‘Let’s just go to the theater, have fun and enjoy a great Hollywood movie over a funny one Movie. I loved it … you go from that frail person who at the end of his life becomes this incredibly lively, healthy person, and then of course things start to change, and there is a price to be paid for that so that makes a lot Fun and there was such a thing as these three stages we play with so I had to put some of what I love to do in one of those giant Marvel characters in that Marvel Sony movie that has never been on screen. It’s hard to find one that has never been on screen. ”

In Morbius, Jared Leto plays the title role of Dr. Michael Morbius, a renowned scientist with serious illness. To find a cure for his condition, Morbius conducts some forbidden experiments on bats that result in him becoming a living vampire, someone with superhuman strength and supernatural consciousness, but who is also forced to drink human blood, to survive.

Aside from the obvious jokes made about interactions with bats leading to disaster for the world, fans are excited to see what Leto does with the classic cartoon character who started out as the Spider-Man villain. In an earlier interview, Leto had indicated that he would make the Jekyll to Hyde route with the character in terms of his civilian doctor side, who wants to save humanity, and his vampire side, who wants to hunt them down instead.

“It’s a great, fun, action-packed movie. It’s a brilliant doctor, a researcher who is first trying to find a cure for a very rare disease that he has and about 1,000 other people in the world. I was at it interested in role because on that journey from dying to finding a cure for this disease and getting incredibly healthy and then changing things that make him monstrous, so it’s a bit like a Jekyll and Hyde, which of course is a classic role. ”

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius plays Jared Leto as the title character, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Tyrese Gibson as Agent Stroud and Jared Harris in an unknown role. The film will be released in theaters on January 21, 2022. This message comes from Deadline.
