Willow Smith comes out of the closet: I am queer. . . And likewise a “non-monogamist”
Jada and Will’s daughter Willow Smith has long been suspected of being a member of the LGBT community. Now MTO News can confirm that the beautiful 20-year-old is officially loud and proud of her sexuality.
She announced on her Instagram this weekend that she is a member of the LGBT community (in particular she classifies herself as “queer”) and she describes herself as an “ethical non-monogamist”.
She posted both labels on her Instagram bio this morning.
So what does it mean to be “queer”? Here is the definition:
An adjective used by some people, especially younger people, whose sexual orientation is not exclusively heterosexual. Typically, those who identify as queer find the terms lesbian, gay, and bisexual to be too restrictive and / or have cultural connotations that they believe do not apply to them.
And what does it mean to be an ethical non-monogamist? Yours is the definition:
Non-monogamy is basically a relationship that involves more than two people. “Ethical” non-monogamy means that all parties are treated with respect and that all parties have enthusiastically agreed to the agreement.
